Cookie policy
Which cookies and similar storage this site uses, and how to refuse them.
This site uses as little browser storage as it can get away with. Here is the whole of it.
What the site itself stores
- Your light or dark theme choice, saved in your own browser so the site does not flash the wrong one at you on the next visit. It never leaves your device.
- A short-lived security token on the forms, which is what stops someone else submitting a form as you.
- If you log in to administer the site, WordPress sets its own session cookies. That does not apply to visitors.
Measurement
Where analytics are switched on, they set cookies that count visits and tell us which pages are read. We use them to decide what to write next, not to build a profile of you.
Embedded things
The booking calendar on the discovery page is provided by a scheduling service and is loaded in a frame. That service sets its own cookies when the frame loads. Nothing else on the site embeds a third party.
Refusing them
Every browser can block cookies, per site or altogether, and can clear the ones already set. Blocking them will cost you the remembered theme and nothing else that matters.
